The mission

THE MISSION

Hope.

"In the United States more then 50% of all marriages end in divorce. More then 60% of African American children are raised in single parent households.
My grandmother was a single mother. My mother was a single mother. I am a single mother.
When my daughter was born a year ago, I decided that I would not pass down this legacy of heartbreak to my child. So I went on a journey inside of myself to discover the things I believed about my own self, the things my parents had taught me about relationships, the things society taught me to my worth as a black woman, to go beyond my families patterns and open myself to love."
